MUS191 : Choir PLUS

Choir Plus is an academic extension to the choir in which you are enrolled.  Students explore the genres, composers, and specific pieces that are being rehearsed with their choir to find deeper connections that they can share with their fellow choir members and concert audiences.  Frequently assigned projects include composer background essays, poetic analysis, and even concert program design. Partial fulfillment of the Area of Inquiry [AOI] requirement in Fine Arts may be met with successful completion of this course and it is possible to take this course a second time, for a total of 2 hours.  Participation is open to students from across campus with the permission of the Director.
