ENG355 : Linguistics, Grammar, and the History of the English Language

This course offers an integrated study of linguistics, grammar, and the historical development of the English language. Students will explore the structure of English, examine major periods in the language’s evolution, and evaluate how grammar rules and usage have shifted over time. Through readings, analysis, and research, students will enhance their linguistic awareness and apply that knowledge to writing, editing, and teaching contexts.
